He has worked as an independent consultant on a range of projects across all three sectors, in three continents.
The idea for SilverbackWorks came from a voluntary 6 month stint in Rwanda where as Adviser for the Genocide Memorial Centre he saw the power of business to improve lives shattered by the genocide. There he set up a new revenue stream and developed the country's first NGO online donation capability.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant he was a campaigns manager for Innovations, the company responsible for the UK's first online transaction and Arcadia Group where he led the campaigns to successfully launch Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins and Principles in to the digital era.
Loona was born in London, educated at Cambridge University (MA Hons in economics) and is a qualified non-practising barrister.
As a self-confessed history geek, he was for 5 years an offical tour guide for the British Museum, has appeared on BBC and Sky TV and is co founder of London City Steps, a social enterprise that trains young unemployed people in London's poorest borough to become tour guides,
